Last night I finished the pocket for the Momma Monster! I also finished stuffing them both, weaved in all ends, and attached the arms. (Looks like I got more done than the Purdue basketball team we were watching! Ouch! ;))
I'm going to go to Michaels this week to pick up some felt for the eyes and teeth.

| Cheeeeeese! Meet your new toys, Drew! Kind of like pillow pets, but better! |

Erica asked in a comment if Drew likes to play with the toys I've knit. Let's just say that he's a little too busy these days to sit and play with a stuffed toy--at least one that doesn't make noise, like the instruments behind him, which he loves.

I didn't realize how big the monsters were until I saw them up against Drew! I was imagining half the size! Great job, I can't wait to see them finished with faces!
ReplyDeleteYeah they are big! It's because the yarn I used was pretty bulky. I was a little reluctant to keep going once I saw how big they were going to be, but I'm happy with how they turned out! They're like pillows!
ReplyDeleteThose monsters are seriously adorable! I'm excited to see how they look with faces. Also, I cannot get over how adorable Drew is in these pictures! It's like he's a trained model!
