A different type of "Bebe"

When Becky saw the sachet I made for our baby, she said it reminded her of what her nephews call her: "Auntie BeBe" (pronounced "beebee"). So, I couldn't resist making Becky her own "BeBe" sachet! It's such a nice, relaxing project to make. The two garter stitch rectangles knit up quickly, and the embroidery is relaxing and satisfying! I embroidered a little flower on the front this time. It took several tries to get it right, but I like the final result! I filled it with sweet smelling lavender and added a silky ribbon.

Frenchie

I wanted a new project to work on this weekend, so I decided to tackle the "Frenchie" hat from "Itty Bitty Nursery." It's a lot like the Marley hat because of how the pattern calls for changing up the stitches and colors every few rows. I had fun making it for that reason! I finished the hat in about a day and a half--it felt like it knit up really quickly because I was changing what I was doing frequently.

I'm not sure what age this hat will fit--maybe 1-2 years old? At any rate, our baby already has quite a selection of hats and he's not even here yet!

Little Large Lamb

This lamb is another pattern from "Itty Bitty Toys." I bought the yarn back in December I think. I couldn't find the yarn the pattern called for for the body of the lamb, so I just bought a yarn that was similarly fluffy. Well...it turned out to be a big fluffy mess! This yarn was a nightmare to work with. It was hard to see what I was doing because of how fluffy it was, and the body of the lamb turned out HUGE! I was going to give up on the little lamb, but my sweet husband insisted that it was cute and that I finish it for him. So, here it is! A little comical looking, but done! At least Jim appreciates it--am I lucky or what? :)

50 Projects Strong

I just listed my 50th project on http://www.ravelry.com/!! That's 50 knitted projects since March 2009! (And that's not even counting projects that have a few components, like the "Baby's Homecoming Outfit.") LOVE to knit!

Finished the sachet

Found the most perfect silky, luxurious ribbon while out with Mom yesterday. The sachet is full of sweet lavender and ready to adorn our room!
