Duck and Bunny--Take 2

I decided to make a second duck/bunny for my friend's little girl.  I did a much better job the second time around!!  (I almost wanted to keep the second one for me, but I keep reminding myself that the first one has personality and character. ;))

I asked a question about how to attach the two heads together on the Itty Bitty forum on Ravelry, and both Susan and another knitter helped me figure it out!  On the first set, I just whipstitched the two cast on edges together.  On the second one, I attached the heads together, and then sewed up the cast on edges.  The second duck/bunny reverses much more smoothly than the first one.  The trick is to turn both animals inside out, touch them together where their heads would be, and sew up a few stitches through the inside.  Pretty cool!

  2. I think both of them look really good, and I honestly can't tell which one is the one you like better! I'm sure your friend and her baby will love theirs.

Also, Susan B. Anderson is awesome! I can't believe how nice and helpful (and accessible) she is!

  3. LOVE it! It reminds me of the little hand-knit finger puppets I found when I went to Ecuador.
