I've been slowly working on Rebecca Danger's "Daphne and Delilah." Jim suggested that I use this fuzzy, nubby collage yarn that I had in my stash; he thought that Drew would love it!
I am almost done with the monsters...I just need to attach the arms, make the Mama's "pocket" for the baby to ride in, and sew on eyes and teeth. Here are some pictures!

Haha, the monsters look a bit like a big cookie!
ReplyDeleteHow cute--the look good in that yarn! I forget--will they have faces?
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!!! Very huggable. Is it fun to make those? I like the colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, they'll have faces. I could do button eyes, or felt eyes, or safety eyes like she used in the pattern (I guess you buy those online). Jill, I did like making them--they're very basic so it's kind of mindless TV watching knitting. :)
ReplyDeleteLove those! And I love, love, love that picture of you 2 in the header...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love the way they turned out and I'm happy you could use the 'pod' yarn for a different project! Yarn never goes to waste!
ReplyDeleteI love the monsters you made (all three! :)). The ones you knit look so soft! Drew's going to love them!!
