I made this bag for Erica's birthday! Happy 28th b-day, my friend! I thought she could use it when she goes to the farmers' market, or even to the beach. It's super stretchy. I followed a
pattern I found on Ravelry. The only change I made was to close the bottom like I would close a hat (in the round). The pattern called for binding off and then making a seam, but I like how this created a nice round base at the bottom to hold your things!

I made another sweater for Judy's yorkie, Guapo. She requested a "G" on the back of the sweater, so here it is! I had never done embroidery before, so I researched a bit and decided to try the duplicate stitch. I found this great tutorial to help me. It's a little tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it, I loved doing this stitch! I'd like to try it on some of my hats now, too! The sweater pattern is the same one I used on the orange sweater in a previous post.
Kids call little blanket bunnies (and their other animal counterparts) "loveys" now. Did we call them that when we were kids? I don't think we had them when we were kids! I had my "silky," Jill and Michael had "blankies"...I think "lovey" is a new term. Thoughts?
