Green Zebra Sweater Update

I decided to take the sweater off the needles just to see how it fit Drew so far.  The circumference is actually smaller than I anticipated--I was hoping I had chosen a size that would fit him for 2 winters, but it looks like it may just fit for the rest of this winter/spring.  Figuring out gauge on a sweater is so hard!  (This is why I haven't tackled making a sweater for myself yet).  I like the way it's turning out though.  The stripes are cute and I love the way the green pops against the blue.  Now I just have to figure out how much more I want to knit before starting the sleeves.

  2. Hahaha! It does look pink in the picture! It's a red shirt with a navy T-Rex on it. At least I thought it was red... ;)

  3. I just knitted Alan a jacket, a pattern from "Design it, Knit it Babies". It's very cute. Mine will hopefully last 2 winters. Just knit the biggest size, I think that's the way to go.

  4. Wow, the sweater is looking great! That stinks that it might not fit him for two years, but hopefully he'll be able to get a lot of wear out of it this winter!

Also, Drew looks so different to me in this picture than in any other ones I've seen. His face really looks like a big boy face! So cute!
