He's here!

Baby Andrew James arrived on June 3rd, 2010 at 10:45am. He weighed 9 lbs 11 oz and was 22.5 in. long--a big boy! I was so proud to have him wear my knitted hats during our time in the hospital instead of the issued hospital hat. He looked so cute and everyone who came to visit loved his hats! Below are a few photos of Drew in his knitted hats.


I dressed Drew in his homecoming outfit on the day we were discharged from the hospital, but it was too big on him! That really surprised me, because he was so big and the pattern indicated that the set would fit a newborn! Maybe it will fit him in September when the nights start to get cool again. I do love how soft the yarn is and how sweet it looks.

    How sweet! I can't wait to see photos of him in all the other hats you've knitted as he grows. I especially love the photo of Drew yawning in the homecoming outfit--so cute!!!!

    Drew looks absolutely adorable in all of your hand-made creations! I cannot stop staring at him in the white sweater with the hat and booties--LOVE THEM!! :)

    Sweet! My Alan is older than Drew. He was born in Feb.
