When Becky saw the sachet I made for our baby, she said it reminded her of what her nephews call her: "Auntie BeBe" (pronounced "beebee"). So, I couldn't resist making Becky her own "BeBe" sachet! It's such a nice, relaxing project to make. The two garter stitch rectangles knit up quickly, and the embroidery is relaxing and satisfying! I embroidered a little flower on the front this time. It took several tries to get it right, but I like the final result! I filled it with sweet smelling lavender and added a silky ribbon.

I was so surprised when I got the package in the mail, and I LOVE my BeBe sachet! The green and purple look great together, and the flower is adorable! It looks beautiful hanging on my bedroom doorknob.
ReplyDeleteTito and Thomas were SO excited about it! They haven't been over to see it in person yet, but I showed them the picture that I took for you on my phone. Tito tried to make Sheila guess what it was that you made for me. Clearly she wasn't guessing sachet, but he wouldn't give in and tell her. I finally whispered "sachet" to her, and when she guessed it, he said "no." You probably had to be there for that to be funny, but it was an amusing little scene...
Thanks again for my beautiful sachet! It's so special to me. :)
Exquisite!
