It was knit with my freakishly long fingers, as pictured in the above photo.
(The better with which to knit you a hat, my dear!)
I like it!
I learned a new technique with this hat and got to practice changing colors to make stripes, as opposed to the self-striping yarn I have used on other hats.
So, on to my next project...maybe I will start the intarsia felted bag Mom got me...

I got sidetracked by a new project! I bought an organizing unit for my yarn yesterday at the Container Store. While going through my yarn, I remembered I'd been wanting to use this skein of yarn that Mom bought me at a craft fair, and I found a great pattern to try out on ravelry! That website is amazing. I did a search for the name of the yarn and then was able to see over a hundred projects that other people had done with the same yarn! This pattern is called "Drop Stitch Scarf" and really highlights this type of yarn because of the lace-like look.
