It's 100 degrees outside, so naturally, I knitted myself a pair of wool socks! ;-) I am becoming more of a fan of sock knitting. It is easy to do in front of the TV! These socks feel very soft and lightweight. I like them!
I learned a lot making these socks. I had to re-do each toe twice until I was happy with them. I wish the striping could have worked out better, but I resigned myself to the fact that it wasn't going to be exactly perfect! They're handmade, after all! Next time I use self-striping yarn I think I will use a coordinating solid colored yarn for the cuffs, heels, and toes.
The stripes look pretty perfect to me! The socks are amazing, Kels! I like how you did the toes different colors on each sock.
