What a cute little elf! This hat is from Susan B. Anderson's "Itty Bitty Hats." It took about 4 nights to finish it--longer than most baby hats (I guess since it was longer in length!). I love the way it came out. Looking forward to taking some fun Christmas-y photos of Andrew in his candy cane hat.
P.S. If you click on the first photo, and then zoom in, I think you can see Drew's little tooth!
Adorable. The hat and the boy. His new tooth is lovely! Shiny and white!
ReplyDeleteWhat a milestone!
LOVE it! I want to make this hat too, maybe for my new nephew. What yarn did you use? I'll probably make different colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The white yarn is sugar 'n cream cotton that I had in my stash. The red is Berroco Weekender (acrylic cotton blend).
ReplyDeleteThat hat is adorable! Nice work, Kels! I love Drew's expression in that 2nd picture, too. What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI zoomed in, and I think I saw a little bit of tooth. You'll have to take more pics when it comes in a little more.
Hope you guys had a safe trip to MN!
I think I'm going to need one of those hats! SO cute!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I love, love, love the 2nd pic of Drew with his arm up on the cushion. He is such a grown up, love the hat - awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your baby with Candy Cane! I plan to knit three in the white and red for 2011 Christmas, one for Alan (baby), one for Bryan (hubby) and one for me.
